Shah Rukh Khan viral video: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan once again took center stage at the IIFA 2024 Awards, mesmerising the audience with his signature charm. However, a viral video from the event sparked heated debates on social media after it showed Khan using a teleprompter while hosting.

The clip, shared by a Salman Khan fan on X (formerly Twitter), showed a large teleprompter positioned behind the audience, clearly displaying the script Shah Rukh was reading from.

Netizens react to the video

The video triggered a flurry of reactions, especially from SRK’s loyal fanbase, who quickly rallied to his defense. One fan commented, “No big deal, I mean, who doesn’t use a teleprompter these days? Even the most experienced hosts rely on them.” Another pointed out, “Even your Salman Khan uses a teleprompter, so what’s the fuss?”

The discussion continued with others talking about the practicality of using such tools for live shows. One user stated, “What’s the problem? Do you expect someone to memorize an entire 30-minute show? It’s an awards ceremony—everything is scripted.”

Another fan highlighted how common teleprompters have become in the industry, adding, “Teleprompters have been used since the 2000s; it’s a standard practice. Are we still in the past?”
