New Delhi: 'Stree 2' is raging at the box office even after being in theatres for almost two weeks. The Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi starrer has collected more than Rs. 600 cr worldwide. As fans enjoy the release of the film, here is an interesting fact about the film's bhoot( ghost), Sarkata. The supervillain in the film, played by wrestler/actor Sunil Kumar, was also a part of Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
Sunil Kumar, who is also a cop in Punjab Police, recently said in an interview with Pinkvilla that he played the role of Ashwatthama's body double in several scenes in 'Kalki 2898 AD' and that it is not all VFX. Suni said, "Amitabh sir ke saath 1-1.5 months shooting hui thi. Ek mahna Prabhas sir ke saath( I shot with Amitabh Bachchan for 1-1.5 months and with Prabhas sir for an entire month)."
First meeting with Amitabh Bachchan
Sunil also recalled his first meeting with Amitabh Bachchan in an interview with India Today. He said, "It was my first day on the set and when I entered the scene, Amitabh Sir and Prabhas Sir were sitting close by. I was getting ready for my action sequence, wearing the harness, when Amit sir looked up at me. He came up to me and asked the camera person to click a photograph. He smiled and said, 'Sabhi mere ko lambu bolte hai, aaj mujhse lamba koi mil gaya( Everyone calls me tall, but I have finally met someone taller than me)."
"Even my family was so excited because we have all been fans of Amitabh Bachchan. And here I was, getting to play his body double. The shoot was also fun, as I got to do a lot of stunts," Kumar added.

Amitabh Bachchan played the character of Ashwatthama in Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD'. As per Hindu mythology, Ashwatthama was the son of Guru Dronacharya and Kripi and fought on the side of Kauravas.
