Despite fresh threats, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan remains undeterred, continuing his work on the set of his upcoming film, ‘Sikandar’, in Hyderabad. The actor, who has been facing multiple security concerns in recent weeks, is currently shooting at the Falaknuma Palace Hotel, where the production has implemented an extensive four-tier security system to safeguard him.

Salman Khan shoots for Sikandar amid tight security

According to reports from Midday, Salman’s filming location has been transformed into a near-fortress to ensure his protection. A significant portion of the hotel has been sealed off, accessible only to members of the film’s crew.

“There are three standing sets, of which two are in the city, but the main location is the palace hotel. Even though they are shooting in one portion, the production team has secured access to the entire hotel and grounds, transforming it into a fortress. While guests can book their stay in the hotel, they have to undergo two levels of screenings, one by the hotel and the other by Salman’s security team. Access to the location is controlled—only those with prior permission can enter, following background and ID checks. The staff also undergo daily screenings, and there is a strict no-swapping policy,” Mid-Day quoted its source as saying.

Salman’s security detail includes a mix of official and private security forces. Reports indicate that his safety is being overseen by a dedicated team that includes NSG commandos and local police officers. Salman is accompanied by a security entourage of 50 to 70 personnel, comprising ex-paramilitary officers and bodyguards, including his long-time bodyguard Shera, who has personally handpicked his team.

The actor is currently in Hyderabad filming musical sequences for ‘Sikandar’ alongside actress Rashmika Mandanna. Following this schedule, he is set to travel to Dubai for his upcoming Da-Bangg Reloaded show.
