New Delhi: Salman Khan’s father veteran screenwriter Salim Khan had a frightening encounter on Thursday (September 19) while walking in Bandra, Mumbai. A burqa-clad woman allegedly approached Salim while he was strolling and threatened him in the name of mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, as reported by Dainik Bhaskar.
According to reports, the woman warned Salim Khan to "behave properly" or face a call from Lawrence, who has threatened Salman Khan's life on many occasions. According to eyewitnesses, a man on a scooter and a woman in a burqa approached Salim Khan while he was on his morning walk.
The woman said, "Lawrence Bishnoi ko bulau kya (should I call Lawrence Bishnoi)".
Bandra Police have taken action in response to the threat by filing a complaint and scouring surveillance video for leads.
The culprits were identified after a rapid assessment of the CCTV footage. Some of the provisions that have been used to file the case include Section 353(2), Section 292, and Section 3(5) BNS. The police are delving further into this case as the inquiry proceeds.

Gunshots Outside Salman Khan's Apartment
Salman Khan's Bandra Galaxy Apartments was the target of gunfire in April 2024. Two guys on motorcycles opened fire outside Salman Khan's Bandra residence. Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, later took credit for the shooting in a Facebook post, leading to speculation that the Bishnoi gang was behind the assault. Six people have been arrested so far in connection with the crime.
According to Salman Khan's statement to the Mumbai Crime Branch, he was startled awake by the sound of a gunshot striking his balcony. Salman Khan's security was beefed up after the incident, with the Mumbai Police providing Y-plus protection and his loyal bodyguard Shera taking additional precautions.
