Saif Ali Khan attack

On Thursday morning, the attacker demanded a ransom of Rs. 1 crore when Saif Ali Khan's domestic help, Eliyama Philip, attempted to understand his intentions. A confrontation ensued, waking up Saif and his wife, Kareena Kapoor. As Saif attempted to intervene, the attacker injured him.

Philip later filed a complaint with the police, stating she had been working as a staff nurse in the actor's household for the past four years. The family resides on the 11th and 12th floors, with three rooms on the 11th floor. Saif and Kareena live in one of the rooms, while their sons, Taimur and Jeh, occupy the other two. Taimur is cared for by a nurse named Geeta, while Philip takes care of Jeh.

Philip explained to the police that she woke up around 2 a.m. due to a noise and noticed the bathroom door was open and the light was on. She initially thought it was Kareena meeting Jeh but soon realized something was amiss. As she sat up, she saw a shadow. The intruder emerged from the bathroom and ordered her to remain silent, threatening her with violence. He held a hexa blade in one hand and an object resembling wood in the other.

During the struggle, the attacker attempted to harm Philip with the blade. She tried to defend herself by pushing her hand forward, but she was injured near her wrist on both hands and the middle of her left hand, as detailed in the FIR.

When Philip asked the attacker what he wanted, he replied, "Money," and when she inquired how much, he stated, "One crore," in English.

The noise prompted Saif and Kareena to rush into the room, at which point the attacker attacked Saif. Saif managed to free Philip and lock the intruder in a room before everyone fled to the upper floor. Other staff members had also heard the commotion. When they returned to the room, the door was open, and the attacker had fled, as noted in the FIR.
