New Delhi: Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan's debut film will be released soon. In an interview with Cosmopolitan India, Rasha—the daughter of actor Raveena Tandon and distributor-producer Anil Thadani— talked about her dream of becoming an actor.

Rasha Thadani's Bollywood debut

When Rasha was asked when she realised that she wants to be an actor, she said, "I think I always knew. You know, when people started asking me in school ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’...I would watch my mom and think: ‘That’s what I want to be’. But, I never said it out loud, because I wasn’t sure of how I’d feel about admitting it TBH.

"It is not a very nice world we live in right now— everyone has an opinion about others. If I had said ‘I want to be an actor’ out loud when I was younger, and if someone said something negative, it would have affected me a lot... especially with my family and the legacy that I carry," she added.

Rasha Thadani talks about pap culture

Rasha talked about her recent rise to fame as a star child about to make her Bollywood debut. She said, “While growing up, mom (Raveena Tandon) tried to keep us away from the spotlight, and I was grateful that we were not exposed to pap culture (paparazzi culture) at the time. I was 17 when I was papped alone — it took me time to warm up but now I am pretty chill. With the increased amount of social media platforms, it is hard to keep away from it."

Rasha is going to star in her debut movie directed by Abhishek Kapoor. With the untitled movie, Aaman Devgan, Ajay Devgn's nephew, will also make his Bollywood debut.
