Rani Mukerji meets Aamir Khan: Actor Rani Mukerji recently met her ‘Ghulam’ co-star Aamir Khan and his daughter Ira Khan and her husband Nupur Shikhare. Ira took to Instagram stories to post the pictures of their meeting.

The photos offer a glimpse into their joyous meeting. In one frame, Ira, Aamir Khan, and Rani are seen posing for a cheerful selfie clicked by Nupur. In the photos, Ira is seen donning a chic black and white dress and Nupur is sporting a peach shirt. Aamir chose a classic cream shirt paired with indigo trousers, while Rani looked elegant in a black ensemble.
Ira captioned the photo, “After soooo long (red heart emojis)." Another snapshot showcased Rani and Ira as they indulged in clicking selfies, accompanied by a heartwarming GIF.
On the work front
On the work front, Rani Mukerji was last seen in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’. The film directed by Ashima Chibber, follows the story of an immigrant mother's relentless struggle to regain custody of her children.
Aamir Khan, on the other hand, was last seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The actor also did a cameo in Kajol starrer Salaam Venky.
The actor recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show, where he spoke about Laal Singh Chaddha’s debacle. Talking about the film, Aamir said, “I was heartbroken because we put in a lot of effort into making the film and each of us put our heart and soul into it”. Recognising the possibility of something amiss that led to the audience’s dissatisfaction, he acknowledged, “Par koi kami reh gayi tabhi shayad audience ko pasand nahin aayi (There was something amiss and that is why the audience didn’t like the film). I took my performance to a high pitch and couldn’t hold it together throughout the film. It was my shortcoming as a performer, and I won’t repeat it in the next film.”
Aamir is currently working on his next film titled 'Sitaare Zameen Par'.
