New Delhi: According to Ranbir Kapoor, his actress-wife Alia Bhatt writes their daughter Raha daily emails. Ranbir also mentioned that he intends to begin letter-writing to their little child in a recent interview with the German pen company Hauser.


On being asked if he writes to his daughter, Ranbir said, "Alia is actually writing her an email every day and I thought I would start writing to her someday. I am actually. Now since I am part of ...so I will write her extraordinary letters to her.” 


He also mentioned that when he was younger, he wrote a lot of love letters, and that he enjoys reading the ones his parents and grandparents wrote to one another.


Ranbir recalled his school days and added that he was a "great copier" who frequently copied but was never caught. Additionally, he described an instance from his school in which the principal discovered him crawling out of his eighth-grade class while it was still in session. He said, "The principle came and stood in front of me, and I got the beating of my life, like he really whacked me and I still remember like us thappad ki goonj mere kaano mein abhi bhi sunayi deti hai. (The echo of that slap still resounds in my ears). I still remember that moment.”


Alia announced Raha's arrival with a social media post and wrote, "And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here…and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love – Blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!! Love love love Alia and Ranbir."


On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani.' The actress also made her Hollywood debut this year with Gal Gadot starrer 'Heart Of Stone.' Alia is currently shooting for Vasan Bala's 'Jigra.'


Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his film 'Animal' directed by 'Kabir Singh' fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. It releases in theatres on December 1.
