New Delhi: As the much-anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya approaches on January 22, Bollywood actors Vivek Oberoi, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Anupam Kher have decided to reach Ayodhya ahead of the historic event. The actors boarded flights from Mumbai that will land directly in Ayodhya.


Vivek Oberoi and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar engaged in an exclusive conversation at Mumbai Airport before their departure, discussing their sentiments and expectations regarding the Ayodhya visit. The duo is set to experience the consecration ceremony firsthand, emphasizing the significance of this event in the cultural and religious history of India.


Notably, actor Anupam Kher is taking a different flight, departing at 12:30 PM and landing in Ayodhya at 2:45 PM. Before boarding his flight, Kher shared a heartfelt video on social media expressing his emotions as a Hindu and the importance he attaches to Lord Ram and the Ram Mandir. In the video, he stated that, in solidarity with the Kashmiri Hindus, he would be present at the inauguration ceremony dressed in traditional attire.


He captioned the video as, "आज मैं अयोध्या जा रहा हूँ।कल के प्राण प्रतिष्ठान महासमारोह में भाग लेने।मन में हर्षोल्लास है।साथ ही कृतज्ञता का भाव उन लाखों राम भक्तों और सेवकों के लिए जिनके अंथक प्रयत्नों और बलिदान के कारण हमें 22 जनवरी का एतिहासिक दिन देखने को मिलेगा! कल हम सब इतिहास का एक अभिन्न अंग बनेंगें।हमारी आने वाली पुश्ते हमें याद रखेंगी।विशेष धन्यवाद हमारे प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी को जो हमारे लिए इस पूजनीय दिन को भव्य और आत्मिक बनाने में मन और आत्मा से तल्लीन है।जय श्री राम! 🙏 (Today, I am going to Ayodhya to participate in tomorrow's Pran Pratishtha Mahasamroh – the consecration ceremony. Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and his wife Lin Laishram are set to be present at the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The couple will be arriving in Ayodhya tomorrow, taking a 2:30 PM flight from Mumbai, with a stopover in Lucknow before reaching their final destination.


Before their departure for Ayodhya, Randeep and Lin spoke to ABP News about the invitation extended to them to attend the unveiling of the temple and expressed their joy over the construction of the Ram Mandir.


The consecration of Ramlala is scheduled to take place on January 22 and invitations for this ceremony have been sent far and wide. Over 8000 guests are estimated to attend the ceremony, who have been sent special invitation cards by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. The long list includes cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, billionaire industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, South Superstar Rajinikanth and many others.
