New Delhi: Rakhi Sawant is back in Mumbai from Mecca after her Umrah. The reality TV star, who went to Saudi Arabia with a few friends, was welcomed at the airport with garlands and floral showers by her fans.
As she was coming out of the airport, she asked the paparazzi to call her Fatima. “Rakhi nahi, Fatima bolo (Not Rakhi, call me Fatima).” The photographers then began calling her Fatima. In the video, doing the rounds on the internet, a man tried to put a garland around her neck but she stopped her and took it in her hand.
A reporter asked her if she has changed her name in her documents, and she replied, “God made me just like this, he loves me just how I am. He doesn't need me to change documents or my name.
Taking an indirect jibe at Adil Khan, Rakhi said that she has just come from a holy place, and she doesn’t care about the drama people are creating.
Earlier, Rakhi had posted a video from Mecca, in which she is seen sobbing and pleading with God. She directs her comments at Adil Khan Durrani, whom she claims ruined her life by marrying her only so she could enter Bollywood. She then prays to Allah to help her.
Rakhi converted to Islam for her marriage with Adil Khan. She later accused him of domestic violence and fraud. He was also accused of rape by another woman and was in jail for six months before he got bail.
Adil, on the other hand, accused Rakhi of cheating and physically abusing her.
