New Delhi: A movie is being made based on Raj Kundra's time spent in the Arthur Road prison. According to reports, the lead in the movie will be the Indian businessman who is also Shilpa Shetty's spouse. For his alleged involvement in the production and distribution of pornographic content via the Hotshots app, Kundra was detained by Mumbai Police on July 19, 2021.

On September 21 of that year, bail was granted to him. He was charged with violating the Indian Penal Code's Information Technology Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, among other provisions.

After the scandal, the businessman has kept a low profile, although his bizarre masks, which cover his entire face, frequently grab headlines. A recent report by Pinkvilla, two years after the incident, claims that a movie on Raj Kundra's 63 days in jail is in work. The experiences Raj had while imprisoned at Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail will be the focus of a movie that he will soon start acting in.

“The film will present an account of all that Raj Kundra experienced through his tenure in one of most over-crowded Jail – Arthur Road Jail. The director’s name has been kept under wraps for now, but Raj Kundra will be creatively involved in all aspects – from production to script,” the source reveled.

“It will trace the entire journey of Raj Kundra – from the first reports of the allegations to the media reporting, time spent in jail to the bail. It’s more of a story from Kundra and family’s point of view,” the source added.

Raj Kundra had also shut down his Twitter and Instagram accounts in November of last year, however, he has now reopened his Instagram account. Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty got married in 2009. The couuple have a daughter named Samisha and a son named Viaan.
