New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra on Monday took to Instagram and wished newlyweds Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha on their wedding. She also welcomed Raghav to the family. The actor, who gave the wedding a miss, shared the photos of the bride and groom and wrote a message for them. 


She wrote, “Picture perfect.. sending so much love to the newly weds on their special day! Welcome to the Chopra family @raghavchadha88 … hope you’re ready to dive into the crazy with us 😉🤪❤️ 
 
Tisha you are the most beautiful bride ever.. we’re sending you and Raghav all the love and blessings for a lifetime of happiness. Take care of each other and protect this beautiful love. Love you little one.” 




Earlier, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra had shared why the actor was unable to attend the wedding. When asked by photographers why Priyanka was not at the wedding, Madhu said, "Woh kam kar rahi hai (She is working)."   


Ahead of the wedding, Priyanka had shared wishes for her cousin on Instagram stories. Sharing a picture of Parineeti, she had written, "I hope you are as happy and content as this on your big day little one..always wishing you so much love (red heart emoji) #newbeginnings @parineetichopra @raghavchadha88."   


Earlier in the morning, the couple shared photos from their wedding - from their jai mala and pheras. A picture of her veil showed 'Raghav' written on it. 


The pictures were captioned: "From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now." 




Parineeti wore a Manish Malhotra lehenga with handcrafted golden tone-on-tone geometrical art crafted. It took over 2,500 hours to be made. She wore Emerald and Uncut jewellery from Manish Malhotra jewellery collection. 


The grand celebration took place on September 24 at the Leela Palace here in the presence of close friends and family. The jai mala and pheras took place around 4.30 p.m. on Sunday. 


Names such as Sania Mirza, Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi, along with Bhagwant Mann, Chief Minister of Punjab and Harbhajan Singh were among the other guests at the wedding.
