New Delhi: Actor Preity Zinta on Tuesday posted a series of pictures of her meeting with spiritual leader Dalai Lama. In the pictures, Preity and her Gene Goodenough can be seen in a conversation with the spiritual leader. 


Along with the pictures, she wrote, “Ending IPL in Dharamshala was not what I hoped for but meeting his Holiness The Dalai Lama in Dharamshala was everything I hoped for. So grateful we got to spend some time with him as he shared pearls of wisdom & laughter with us 🙏❤️ #ting” 



In one of the pictures, Gene can be seen shaking hands with Dalai Lama. Both Preity and Gene were dressed in black attire. 


Preity’s team Punjab Kings is out of the IPL, the team was defeated by Rajasthan Royals by four wickets at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala. 


Preity recently was on a vacation in Shimla, her hometown, with her husband Gene Goodenough and their twins Jai and Gia. The actor posted several pictures from her vacation giving her fans a glimpse of her days at her hometown. From using a traditional chulha to feeding the cows, she adopted the pahadi lifestyle for a few days. 




 




The actor also visited the Hateshwari Mata temple in Shimla with her family and shared a glimpse of her visit. She posted a video and wrote, “When I was a little girl I often visited the Hateshwari Mata temple in Hatkoti, Shimla - Himachal Pradesh. This temple has played a big role in my childhood & I’ve always felt very connected to it. Now that I’m a mother its only natural that the first temple my kids visited was this incredible & ancient temple. Here’s a sneak peek of our visit. The actor’s husband Gene, who is on her first visit to Preity’s hometown, was gifted a traditional Himachali cap by her family. The actor also shared photos of her husband wearing the cap.   




Preity Zinta also shared a clip of her kid Jai walking in a garden and wrote, “My kind of heaven ❤️ The last couple of days have been amazing. Mountains, family, clean air & a digital detox. No better sound than hearing …. mama … mama for the first time from the kiddos. This really is heaven 😍 #ting.”     




Preity and Gene Goodenough got married in 2016 in Los Angeles. The duo became parents to twins in 2021 via surrogacy.
