New Delhi: Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh recently treated his fans to glimpses of his latest Himalayan escapade, sharing moments from his travel diaries on Instagram. The multi-talented artist embarked on a journey to Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, where he not only danced with the locals but also delved into the serene atmosphere of a monastery.
Dosanjh posted a video featuring his squad amidst snow-capped mountains. The video, playfully titled "Naina Da Kehna," referring to his upcoming film Crew's song ‘Naina’. Kareena Kapoor Khan responded in the post in the form of heart and smiley emojis.
In another post, Dosanjh immersed himself in the local culture, joining the residents to sing a traditional song. The actor, known for his soulful voice, also treated them to one of his own songs. He captioned the video, “ONE LOVE 😇🙏🏽”.
The latest addition to his travel diary shows a visit to a monastery. Captioned as 'One Love,' the video captured Dosanjh engaging with the monks, sharing moments of camaraderie, and even presenting a young monk with a gift—a sweatshirt. As a token of appreciation, the monks reciprocated by gifting him a scroll before his departure.
In another set of pictures and video, dressed in a black sweater, matching joggers, and an orange turban, Dosanjh showcased his vibrant energy by dancing with the locals to a folk song on a mountain road. He said in the video, "I did a different dance form today, pahadi jhumar. I don’t know the lyrics, but I danced."
Last week, Dosanjh extended Maha Shivaratri wishes to his fans through a set of pictures where he could be seen visiting a temple and interacting with the locals.
On the work front, Diljit will be seen in the upcoming biopic 'Amar Singh Chamkila', directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is the story of record-selling artist of his time, Amar Singh Chamkila, often referred to as the 'Elvis Presley of Punjab'. The movie also stars Parineeti Chopra.
He will also be seen in 'Crew', along with Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon.
