New Delhi: Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, the much-talked-about couple are finally married. The newly married couple tied the knoton September 24 in 'A Pearl White Indian Wedding' at The Leela Palace during the day. Thr first photo of the couple as husband and wife started doing the rounds on the internet late at night. Many fan pages had a picture of the couple presumably from their wedding reception. In the picture, Parineeti is wearing a pink saree with a diamond necklace and is seen wearing indoor while Raghav is dressed in a black suit with a white shirt.






The wedding festivities of the couple took place at the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur with the pre-wedding festivities beginning in Delhi while the main wedding functions including Chooda ceremony, mehendi and 90s themed sangeet were held in Udaipur on September 23.


The jaimala and pheras took place around 4.30 p.m. The guests who were present included AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, AAP's Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Singh and Sanjeev Arora, and Sania Mirza, the tennis star who is also Parineeti's BFF.


The couple had an ivory-themed wedding and the guests were seen dressed similarly. For the vidaai, the song 'Dilwale Dhulhaniya Le Jayengey' picturised on Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol was played.


For the wedding, Parineeti reportedly wore a pearl white ensemble by Manish Malhotra; Raghav was styled by his maternal uncle, fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva, for the big day.


Recently, Parineeti and Raghav were spotted in the first photos from one of their several pre-wedding festivities. Photos from the couple's ardas ceremony also went viral.


 






The engagement of Raghav and Parineeti on May 13 in Delhi garnered great media attention. 


A few months ago, Parineeti and Raghav got engaged. At Kapurthala House in New Delhi on May 13, the pair exchanged rings in front of their loved ones. Prior to becoming engaged, Raghav and Parineeti kept their relationship a secret. Raghav and Parineeti reportedly knew each other for many years prior to their relationship. 


 






A day before Parineeti Chopra's big day, cousin Priyanka Chopra shared a post for her "little one", wishing her "all the love and happiness" as she begins a new journey of her life. Through her post, Priyanka, who attended the engagement ceremony of the couple in May, hinted that she might miss out the wedding.


Parineeti's close friend Sania Mirza also shared a post for the actress ahead of her wedding to AAP politician Raghav Chadha.
