Paparazzo Manav Manglani recently shared the reason behind Jaya's reaction. In a recent interview with Aleena Dissects, Manav said that Jaya is not media savvy.

“She is not used to so much media. During her days, there were hardly a few people, who would do it all very gently. Now, the media has massively increased,” Manav said.
He added, “She doesn’t mind them when they are at a press conference or film premiere. She hates it when they spot her off-guard. She gets shocked, ‘How come so many people gathered here, we were just out for a dinner.’ Then she has her fun banters also. She suggests angles to the paps. ‘Yeh niche kaha photo le rahe ho, iss angle se lo (Why are you clicking photo from a low angle, shoot it from here). She is not media savy. She was just used to four-five people from certain channel and that’s it.” He added, “Jaya Bachchan has her own funda,” he added.
