New Delhi: National-Award-winning actor Pankaj Tripathi engaged with fans through an 'Ask Me Anything' session on Reddit on Friday. Fans asked several professional and personal questions to the veteran actor who answered them in an honest manner.

When a user asked, "When and what was your first ever experience of the art of acting? And how did you feel?", the actor replied, "During my childhood, mere gaon ke Chhat festival mein ek play hua tha jahan I played a female character. Kaafi nervous tha main." ( I played a female character during teh Chhat festival in my village, I was very nervous)


Another asked, "What is your process of script selection? and are you still required to audition for certain roles?" to which the actor replied, "No auditions, only look-tests. Aur jo content/script dil ko accha lag jaye." ( And content that touches your heart)


When a user asked about updates for 'Stree 2', Pankaj Tripathi shared clip of himself with a caption that said, "Balak, kyun darna chahte ho?' ( Why do you wish to get scared)


A user also asked, "Sir was there a script you didn't like before, but you changed your mind?" to which the actor replied, "Yes, that film was Mimi. And I got a National Award for the same film. Ab lagta hai ki chhod deta toh malhaal hota."


When a fan asked, "Sir, we've seen you do so many diverse roles in so many movies. Hats off to you because you're a great actor as well a great person. My question to you is if you had to describe your acting career and your whole journey in just a sentence, what would it be?", the 'Gangs of Wasseypur' actor responded with, "It’s like a river journey. Nadi ki yatra."
