New Delhi: It is now a battle for films as well. The ongoing legal battle between Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez has now affected their professional space as well. As per a Hindustan Times report, Nora Fatehi has replaced Jacqueline Fernandez in 'Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa'. The film is being headlined by Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal and is being touted to be India's first extreme sports film.

As per the same Hindustan Times report, the Nora and Jacqueline switch has happened after T-Series took over as the producer of the film. The production has allegedly been pushing for Nora as a poster girl for the film ever since they took over production of the film.

Jacqueline Fernandez had started filming 'Crakk' in Poland in October in 2022. This would have been her first film post the entire fiasco involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

However, as per latest reports, Jacqueline has now been replaced by Nora Fatehi. Earlier, 'Crakk' was being produced by Vidyut Jammwal's home production Action Hero films.

Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez legal battle

Nora filed a case against Jacqueline and several media outlets for defamation and publishing content about her that demeaned her in relation to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Nora appeared before the Patiala High Court earlier this month and said, "They have called me a gold digger and accused me of having a relationship with a con artist Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The reason why I have filed this case is because of the ongoing ED case against Sukesh who was accused of conning a sum of ₹200 crore that I have nothing to do with and neither do I know anything,"

Nora further alleged that these media outlets and Jacqueline seemed to be working with each other, "acting in connivance with each other” and accused Jacqueline of “prolonged and unnecessary harassment” about being listed on the case.

Crakk film

'Crakk' is directed by Aditya Datt who had directed 2005 romantic thriller 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne'. 'Crakk' will be Aditya's second collaboration after he directed Vidyut in the 2019 action thriller 'Commando 3'.
