Mehzabeen Coatwala has taken to Instagram to shower praises on her new hubby Munawar Faruqui. As per reports, the pair got married on May 26, 2024.

New Delhi: This past week, news spread like wildfire about Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui's secret wedding with make-up artist Mehzabeen Coatwala. A few celebs, including actress Hina Khan, allegedly attended the intimate wedding. If reports are to be believed, Mehzabeen and Munawar got married in May. Their nikah was reportedly held on May 26, 2024. However, neither of them has made the news public. Now, from their recent social media post, it seems that the pair have confirmed their marriage.

In a touching Instagram post, Mehzabeen Coatwala commended Munawar's performance in Dubai. The message said, "Proud of you @munawar.faruqui," and a red heart emoji was also included. Fans took it as an indication of their union.

Munawar reshared the Instagram story with a blue love emoji.

While Munawar Faruqui's followers patiently wait for confirmation, they are celebrating the comedian's new chapter with Mehzabeen Coatwala based on the clues and social media postings they've seen so far. 

Who is Mehzabeen Coatwala?

Mehzabeen Coatwala is a member of the Muslim Memon community. She lives in the South Mumbai neighbourhood of Agripada. Mehzabeen has a daughter from her previous marriage who is now 10 years old.

Munawar Faruqui’s first marriage 

In 2022, Munawar filed for divorce from Jasmine, with whom he has a kid, Mikael, who is six years old. Munawar discussed his first marriage in one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 17. He said that his family planned it but ended in divorce. Munawar said, “I don’t want to talk about her. It just didn’t work out.”
