New Delhi: Mrunal Thakur became a pan-India name with her performance in last year's period piece 'Sita Ramam'. As the actor continues to explore a variety of projects, she also revealed her relationship status in a recent chat with a publication. The actor shared that she was single at the time and added that the 'someone she is looking for' should be like Keanu Reeves.
In an interaction with India Today, she shared that there is no pressure to marry and that she is not looking for a man. "There is pressure, but koi mile bhi toh. ( there should be someone at least) I'm not looking for a man at all."
"But there is someone I'm looking for, it's Keanu Reeves, I would love to find him," she added.
For those unaware, Keabu Reeves is an actor-musician most well known for his 'The Matrix' series and the action films 'John Wick'.
Mrunal has on numerous occasions in the past mentioned her desire to meet Keanu Reeves or expressed admiration for him.
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Mrnal had shared that she, like the character Geet in 'Jab We Met' likes to believe that your happiness should not depend on others. "There are also a few dialogues from the film which truly resonate with me. One is where she says, ' I am my favourite'. And it's been a while since people have stopped loving themselves. So maybe that was kind of a reminder that I am my favourite. I think you should love yourself so much that you should be full in life. You should feel happy and grateful. Your happiness shouldn't be dependent on others."
Mrunal Thakur began her career on TV with shows like 'Kumkum Bhagya'. After the daily soap, she ventured into Bollywood and made her debut in 'Batla House' alongside John Abraham. The actor then went on to work in the South and in multiple Bollywood projects.
She most recently received an outstanding performance award for 'Sita Ramam'.
Mrunal now has 'Pippa', 'Hi Nanna' and 'VD 13' in the pipeline.
