Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who was recently seen in the Diwali hit 'Singham Again', found himself involved in a local matter shortly after voting in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections on Wednesday. As he exited the polling station in Mumbai's Juhu area, the actor was approached by an elderly man who asked for his help regarding a public toilet that Akshay had donated a few years ago. According to the man, the toilet was now in poor condition and needed repair.

In response, Akshay assured the man that he would reach out to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to resolve the issue. "I will speak with the BMC and get things done," the actor promised.
Akshay Kumar, who was one of the first voters to arrive at the polling booth that morning, took the time to cast his vote before engaging with the media. As he made his way to his car after voting, he was approached by the elderly gentleman, who asked for assistance in improving the local facilities. Despite his busy schedule, the actor showed his willingness to help with the issue.
Meanwhile, many Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others were spotted outside the polling station as they exercised their rights and cast votes.
Maharashtra Assembly Elections
The Maharashtra Assembly elections are currently underway, with voting taking place across the state’s 288 constituencies. A total of 4,136 candidates are contesting, with the stakes high for both major political alliances. Maharashtra, known for having the highest GDP per capita in India, remains a key battleground for political parties.
