Mallika Sherawat Confirms Breakup With French BF Cyrille Auxenfans: 'It's Difficult To Find A Worthy Man'

Bollywood actor Mallika Sherawat has opened up about her recent breakup, confirming that she is single again.

New Delhi: Bollywood star Mallika Sherawat, who has always been outspoken and unapologetic, made a comeback in the industry with her appearance in ‘Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. The 48-year-old actress recently revealed her relationship status, confirming that she broke up with French businessman Cyrille Auxenfans.

Mallika discussed her split and her current single status in an interview with Times of India. She shared, "We broke up...I really don't want to talk about it."

She also said, "It's so difficult in this day and age to find a worthy man." 

The ‘Welcome’ actress was questioned about her thoughts on marriage, and she said she was ambivalent. "I'm not for it, but I'm not against it. I'm indifferent to it. It depends on what two people want, Mallika stated. 

Mallika Sherawat’s Relationship 

The Times of India reports that Mallika fell head over heels with Auxenfans after meeting him via common friends. Reportedly, the pair also exchanged expensive gifts, with Auxenfans presenting Mallika with a fancy car. 

Mallika expressed her intention to invite her ex-partner to Mumbai in a previous interview when she talked fondly of him to IANS. "He has shown Paris to me and has romanced me the French style, now I will romance him the Indian style! I will take him to the Taj Mahal, and make him have street food... You know, the typical Indian flavor, that’s what I want to do," the actress shared. 

In 2018, reports surfaced that Mallika and French billionaire Auxenfans were allegedly forced out of their lavish Paris flat for nonpayment of rent.

In terms of her career, Mallika returned to acting after a two-year absence with the part of Chanda in ‘Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri.
