American singer Charlie Puth took to Instagram just hours after Liam Payne's passing and wrote, “I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I cannot believe he is gone.” 






Reality TV star Paris Hilton shared a message on X (formerly Twitter), "So upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPayne passing. Sending love and condolences to his family & loved ones. RIP my friend."

Liam Payne was found dead on the patio of his hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, according to a statement from Argentine police. The police responded to a call from the hotel, located in the upscale Palermo neighborhood, where they were alerted to an "aggressive man who may have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol," as reported by Reuters.


According to a Reuters report, the hotel manager stated he heard a loud noise coming from the back of the building. When police arrived at the scene, they found that a man had fallen from his balcony.


As emergency responders took Liam Payne's body from the hotel, fans and onlookers who had gathered began clapping. Many fans outside the hotel hugged each other and cried, mourning the singer's death.
