New Delhi: Vijay Deverakonda starrer 'Kushi' trailer was launched in Hyderabad today among a house-packed audience of journalists and fans. While Samantha Ruth Prabhu was missing from the trailer launch, Vijay sent love on behalf of her to everyone present. Among other things related to 'Kushi', Devarakonda spoke about his marriage plans, the failure of 'Liger' and the punishment he has self-inflicted because of the embarrassment caused.

When Vijay Deverakonda was asked about his marriage plans, the actor said, "I need to do it soon. It’s around the corner I think. I am enjoying talking about it. I like talking about it. That’s a chapter everyone needs to experience. Might get married in 2-3 years. Still searching for the girl.”

Devarakonda also spoke about the importance of having a loving relationship. "To be loving and understanding through the highs and lows, changes in life. I think it’s a partnership an stand together in everything.”

He also said, "I think I have become comfortable with the idea. Before marriage was a word that no one was allowed to say around me. It would immediately agitate and irritate me. But now, I am having conversations about it.  I am enjoying watching my friends get married. I am enjoying happy marriages, and I am enjoying troubled marriages, everything is entertaining. But I hope to have a married life of my own, and that's a chapter in life that everyone should experience."

'Kushi' has been written and directed by Shiva Nirvana. The film follows the story of a married couple and the real life trials and tribulations, triumphs and losses that happen once the happily ever after tag fades.

When asked about the failure of ‘Liger’, Vijay said, “the thing about Liger that upset me was why didI not see it, that failure did not affect me so much.. for me when Vijay Dveerakonda says something he makes it happen.I said Liger would be a hit but it wasn't, so how the bloody hell you did not see it. So, now I have decided for the next three films, I will shut my mouth and let my work speak-- self -inflicted punishment because i embarrassed myself, so i have given myself that punishment”.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 'Kushi' will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayama and Kannada On September 1.

'Kushi' also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshimi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore and others.
