New Delhi: In the latest episode of Koffee with Karan on Thursday, January 11th, Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman ignited the couch with spirited anecdotes from the golden days of Bollywood and candid revelations about their personal lives. The actresses made delightful guests on the couch with Karan, making it a memorable and entertaining episode.

The late actor Rishi Kapoor, who battled leukaemia until his passing in 2020, was known for his passionate demeanour and strict attitude.

Embarking on her journey in the industry in the late '60s, Neetu Kapoor nostalgically shared, “We had a fabulous time, especially with Yash Ji (Chopra). We would party in the night, play antakshari, indulge in dumb charades. It was like one big picnic. That was really, really fun. However, I had Rishi Kapoor as my boyfriend. So, I never truly partied. He was always like, 'Don’t do this. Don’t do that. Come home.' So, I never experienced the wild side of partying during those days.”

Neetu Kapoor revealed, "He was a very loving person, although he didn't always show it. His final years were well spent and became some of the most memorable years of my life too. I prefer to remember the good part of our relationship rather than dwell on the sadness."

The couple, blessed with a son, Ranbir Kapoor, was also a topic of discussion on the show. Neetu expressed her desire for Ranbir and her daughter-in-law, Alia Bhatt, to carve their own path in their married life. "In today’s day and age, do what you want to do. Just be happy. Every generation is different. What I went through, I can’t expect them to do the same thing. They know their own vibe," remarked the veteran actor.

When asked about a Bollywood heartthrob from her era whom she secretly had a crush on, Neetu Kapoor playfully admitted it was Shashi Kapoor, her uncle.
