Kapil recalls the initial days of his career

Reflecting on his career, Kapil highlighted the unpredictability of his success. When I started this show, they were not giving me more than 24 episodes. The show was made for a period of 3 months. And, today, it's been 12 years. My journey has been eventful, he shared. He spoke about his roots in theatre, his time in Delhi, and eventually moving to Mumbai, where he found fame.

Kapil also recalled his life-changing moment when he was selected for a reality show, saying, “It was my first time on a flight. I felt great. There have been ups and downs, but I think this is life.”

Kapil on social media usage

The comedian didn’t shy away from commenting on modern-day issues like the overuse of social media. We are too absorbed in social media. We want to know what the US has said to Ukraine but we have no clue if our father has fallen in the bathroom next door,” he quipped. Kapil explained his recent efforts to limit time spent on social platforms, sharing, “By spending a lot of time on social media, we are giving people the opportunity to enter into our world. I think we should minimise the use of social networking sites.”

While acknowledging that individual circumstances differ, Kapil urged everyone to view each day as an opportunity. Every day calls for a fresh start,” he concluded, inspiring the audience with his words.
