New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut has opened up about one of her old tweets when she called Ranbir Kapoor 'a serial skirt chaser.' In a promo of 'Aap Ki Adalat' episode which features her, the actor and politiican responded to allegations about taking a dig at several Bollywood celebs such as Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar.
When Kangana is asked about her comment against Ranvir, she tells 'Aap Ki Adalat' host, Rajat Sharma, "Aap toh aise bol rahe hai jaise wo Swami Vivekanand ho( You're talking like he is Swami Vivekananda)."
So, What had Kangana spoken about Ranbir
In 2020, Kangana had targetted Ranbir as well as Deepika Padukone in a tweet. She had called Deepika Padukone 'a self-proclaimed mental illness patient', while calling Ranbir a 'serial skirt chaser'. She had written in her tweet, "Ranbir Kapoor is a serial skirt chaser but no one dare call him a rapist. Deepika is a self proclaimed mental illnesses patient but no one calls her a psycho or a witch... this name calling is reserved only for extra ordinary outsiders who come from small towns and humble families."
Kangana's tweet came in response to another tweet, which said that Ranbir, despite delivering flops like 'Bombay Velvet', 'Jagga Jasoos', and average box office films like 'Tamasha' had media's supoort and bagged a big film such as Rajkummar Hirani's 'Sanju'.
Kangana has been quite vocal about her criticism of star kids such as Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor and Ananya Panday. In an old interview, she had also slammed Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker and called them 'B-grace actors'.
Emergency
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana Ranaut is promoting her upcoming film 'Emergency' which is yet to be cleared by the CBFC amid death threats around its release.
