New Delhi: John Cena recently visited India to attend the lavish wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai. During his trip, Cena shared that he was “starstruck” and “emotional” when he met Shah Rukh Khan in person. In a recent interview, the wrestler-turned-actor revealed that SRK’s TED Talk had a profound impact on his life, saying, “They helped orchestrate a change in my life.”

In an interview with ANI, Cena discussed his meeting with Shah Rukh Khan. He said, “He (Shah Rukh) did a TED Talk that found me at the right time in my life and his words were beyond inspirational to me. They helped orchestrate a change in my life. And since that change, I have been able to recognize all the jackpots that I have been given and been grateful and work hard to make sure I don’t waste them.”


 






Speaking about his recent encounter with SRK, Cena said, “It was just such an emotional moment to be able to shake a person’s hand that affects your life so drastically and tell them specifically what they did.” Cena described Shah Rukh Khan as empathetic, kind, and sharing, and confessed that he was both “awestruck” and “starstruck” after their “fantastic” and “wonderful” meeting.

This is not the first time Cena has expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan. After attending the Ambani-Merchant wedding, he took to his X handle to share his experience, writing, “A surreal 24 hours. So grateful for the Ambani family for their unmatched warmth and hospitality. An experience filled with so many unforgettable moments which allowed me to connect with countless new friends, including meeting @iamsrk and being able to tell him personally the positive effect he has had on my life.”


In February, Cena also expressed his love for the Bollywood star in a viral video where he sang “Bholi Si Surat” from Shah Rukh Khan’s film "Dil Toh Pagal Hai." The video caught the attention of Shah Rukh Khan, who responded, “Thank you both… Love and love you @JohnCena. I’m gonna send you my latest songs and I want a duet from the two of you (John Cena and Gurv Sihra) again!!! Ha ha.”
