Jaya Bachchan Gets Angry At Paparazzi At 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' Screening: 'I Am Not Deaf, Chillao Mat'
Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan turned up for the star-studded screening of her upcoming film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani' starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
New Delhi: Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan turned up for the star-studded screening of her upcoming film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani' starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Pictures and videos from the grand premiere, held in Mumbai on Tuesday are doing the rounds on social video. Several paparazzo accounts also shared a video of Jaya Bachchan getting angry at the photographers.
Jaya Bachchan arrived for the film's screening with her kids Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan. The veteran actress arrived wearing a red outfit while Abhishek kept it casual in a blue sweatshirt, denims and a cap. Shweta Bachchan also opted for a white t-shirt and jeans paired with a hoodie.
A paparazzo captured a video of Jaya walking towards the event and posted it to Instagram. As she waited for her kids, the actor stopped close to the photographers. She began to hear her name called by the photographers waiting outside the venue.
When they began shouting, Jaya became agitated and screamed, "I am not deaf. Chilao maat, aaram se baat karo (Don't scream, talk softly).” She was then seen beaming as she walked into the theatre, followed by her children Abhishek and Shweta. This isn't the first time that Jaya Bachchan got irked by the paparazzi.

In addition to Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, the premiere was attended by popular celebs including Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Neha Dhupia, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Chunky Panday. 'Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', directed by Karan Johar, has Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in the key parts.
The film marks Karan Johar’s return to direction after seven years. He had last directed 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
