New Delhi: Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor faithfully carries on a beloved ritual that she began in memory of her late mother, Sridevi. The Tirupati Balaji temple has a special place in Janhvi's heart, and she has often talked about her profound respect and love for this holy temple. Sridevi would often go to the world-famous shrine in Andhra Pradesh on her birthday. Janhvi has continued this practice after Sridevi passed away. Along with her rumoured partner Shikhar Pahariya, she went to pray for her mother's 61st birth anniversary on August 13th.
A video has been circulating online where Janhvi can be seen donning a mustard-coloured Kanjivaram saree embellished with gajra and golden jewellery. With little makeup, the actress opted for a minimal approach. On the other hand, Shikhar Pahariya wore a traditional Veshti for the temple darshan.
The rumoured couple were seen walking together after visiting the temple.

In February 2018, Sridevi passed away. Her body was discovered in the hotel bathtub in Dubai, where she was staying. The cause of her death was accidental drowning, according to the report.
