Actress Isha Koppikar was all over the news earlier this year after announcing her divorce from restaurateur Timmy Narang after 14 years of marriage. The ex-couple has a beautiful 9-year-old daughter Rianna Narang. In a recent interview, Isha talked about her relationship and bond with her daughter Rianna. She revealed how her kid proudly says, "Mai Papa Ki Pari Nahi, Maa Ki Sherni Hu (I am not Daddy's angel, I am Mommy's lioness)”.

Isha Koppikar recently appeared on Siddharth Kannan’s chat show where she talked about her separation from Timmy Narang and daughter Rianna in detail. According to the actress, her daughter laughs and cries with her. She tagged her connection with her daughter “beautiful”.

Isha was questioned on Rianna’s understanding of the divorce situation. The actress responded, “Riana has grown to it. She has come out of my womb. So, she is a part of my journey. She will go through what I am going through. She laughs when I laugh, cries when I cry.”

Isha shared that she created such a journey with her daughter since she was in her womb.

Isha also added, “I don't have to tell her I just look at you and she knows what the mother wants. I don't have to talk. She tells me that ‘Mai papa ki pari nahi, mumma ki sherni hu’. She (Rianna) is very close to Timmy but even Timmy knows she is extremely close to me because I have created that bond with her from day 1. I worked for it.”

Isha Koppikar On Separation

Isha Koppikar said that a forced relationship is worse. “Relationship break is very painful but to force someone into a relationship is more painful. Agar mujhe kisi ne kaha hai ya mujhe agar feel hota hai actions se, bolne ki bhi zarurat nahi hoti if a person doesn't want to be with me for whatever reason. I think marriage is a connection of two souls. You change, evolve and grow together or you don’t. All these ‘Ek jaan’ and filmy stuff, Shah Rukh Khan has spoiled us. Hindi movies have spoiled us,” she shared.
