New Delhi: The first glimpse from Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan's minimal wedding ceremony in Udaipur, where she married Nupur Shikhare, is out now. As they made their way down the aisle hand in hand, the newlywed pair looked stunning. A handful of videos from within the religious ritual with a Christian theme went viral.

Ira chose a white gown with sheer embellishments. To complete the minimalist style, she chose a gorgeous tiara and tied her hair. Nupur looked sharp in a suit of pale yellow. Aamir Khan, the bride's father, was spotted celebrating the newlyweds and wiping tears from his eyes. Aamir's son Azad Rao Khan and his ex-wife Kiran Rao were also present at the wedding. Reena, Aamir's first wife, looked stunning in a saree. Friends and relatives showered them with flower petals as they walked down the aisle.

The couple had a special sangeet night on Tuesday. Aamir gave a special performance during the ceremony, and Kiran and Azad also joined him. While all of them wore traditional attire, Ira chose to wear an embroidered lehenga with a cloak reminiscent of Little Red Riding Hood. Nupur was dressed in a suit.

The family chose to participate in many pre-wedding events in addition to sangeet. On the day before the wedding, the couple worked out and played a round of football. Aamir Khan also showed off his henna on his palm at their mehendi ceremony. Ira herself had shared photos from their haldi function before this.

Ira is the daughter of Aamir and Reena Dutta, his first wife. Before Nupur asked Ira to marry her last year, the two had dated for a very long period. In 2023, they got engaged and celebrated in Mumbai. In Mumbai on January 3, Ira and Nupur officially became husband and wife in front of their loved ones.
