New Delhi: As the excitement of the IPL 2024 season continues to captivate fans, Juhi Chawla, co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team, revealed a funny reason why she avoids watching matches with her fellow co-owner, Shah Rukh Khan. In an interview with IANS, Juhi humorously shared insights into their match-watching dynamics.

"IPL is always exciting. We all are in front of our television sets. When our team plays, it is interesting to watch them, and we all are highly tense," Juhi remarked. However, she disclosed that watching with SRK isn't always smooth. "It is not good to watch a match with him because when our team is not performing well, he vents out his anger at me," she stated, highlighting how Shah Rukh Khan expresses his frustration during tense moments.

Juhi also added,  “I tell him to tell that to the team and not me. So we are not the best people to watch the match with. I think the same goes for a lot of owners. They all can be seen sweating while their teams play.”

Juhi recalled a previous incident on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' where she shared insights into their match-watching rituals. Standing together during matches, the trio of Juhi, her husband Jay Mehta, and SRK have a superstition that KKR performs better when they unite. However, when the team faces setbacks, SRK's passionate reactions often involve scolding Juhi and critiquing the players' performance.
