Hina Khan Finds Motivation In Her 'Last Standing Eyelash' As She Nears Final Cycle Of Chemotherapy

In a heartfelt post, Hina Khan shared an image of her "last standing eyelash," symbolising her resilience and determination.

New Delhi: Renowned television actress Hina Khan has been openly chronicling her experience since disclosing her diagnosis of stage three breast cancer. As a powerful testament to her resilience throughout her chemotherapy treatment, Hina Khan just posted a touching photo of her "last standing eyelash" on Instagram. She wrote an emotional note along with the pictures. 

The 36-year-old actress showed off her scarred eyes in a closeup shot, revealing that she had lost almost all of her natural eyelashes due to the ongoing chemotherapy treatment. She found inspiration in the one eyelash that remained on her eyelid.

"Wanna know what’s my current source of motivation? Once part of a mighty and beautiful Brigade that adorned my eyes. My Genetically long and beautiful lashes.. This BRAVE , LONE WARRIOR my last standing Eyelash has fought it all beside me. Nearing the last cycle of my Chemo this single Eyelash is my MOTIVATION. We shall see this all through," Hina wrote.

Hina is adjusting to new lifestyle habits while she goes through therapy, one of which is using fake eyelashes for her shoots again after more than a decade. She wrote, "P.S - Haven’t worn falsies in a decade, actually more, but now I do, for my shoots. Koi naaaaa.. sab theek ho jaana hai."

Hina Khan Suffering From Stage 3 Breast Cancer

Hina Khan publically announced her breast cancer diagnosis in June 2024, and since then, she has continued to work, even as she deals with the side effects of chemotherapy, including mucositis. Despite her fluctuating health, she has attended events and participated in ramp walks, showcasing her strength and determination.  The famous TV personality stunned onlookers at a Mumbai awards ceremony last month. While undergoing chemotherapy, Hina shaved her head and wore a wig made from her own hair.
