New Delhi: Actor Fardeen Khan addresses his return to the industry after a significant hiatus. He acknowledges the transformation in the industry's style of storytelling and production techniques. As he prepares to re-enter the limelight with his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama ‘Heeramandi’, Fardeen Khan offers insights into his journey and the changes he has witnessed in the cinematic landscape.


In a conversation with Zoom, the actor talked about his return to acting after a long gap. He expressed that “One has to be grateful to platforms like Netflix.”


He said, “As an actor, it gives you the chance to really dig deep in this in this format and I am coming back after such a long gap. I was very cut off and I've used this time to learn. The landscape is different, the audiences have changed, the whole style of filmmaking has changed, film language has changed to a certain degree.”


Fardeen concluded, “In so many ways, it's such a blessing that we've been able to move away from the confines of commercial Cinema. It's a great time for writers, directors, actors and we exploring all kinds of uh stories.”
