New Delhi: On Monday (December 2), fans were taken aback when 37-year-old actor Vikrant Massey, who gained recognition for his breakout role in '12th Fail', announced his retirement from acting. The actor shared his decision to step away from the limelight in a social media post, leaving both the film industry and his fan base shocked. However, actor Harshvardhan Rane has expressed doubts about Massey’s retirement.

Harshvardhan lauded Vikrant's work ethic and acting method in an interview with Bollywood Bubble. He said, "He is a man with a clear and centered thought process. I respect his work ethic and look up to his acting process on Haseen Dillruba’s shoot.”

"Hope he gets back to making films like Aamir Khan sir also did after making a similar announcement. These are great artists, and our country needs their presence in our cinema," Harshvardhan said, drawing a comparison to Aamir Khan's comeback to filmmaking after a similar announcement.

Harshvardhan concluded by saying, “I’m praying this is just some PR activity forced on him by some filmmaker.”
