New Delhi: Prabhas is a renowned Indian actor who primarily works in the Telugu language. The popular actor celebrates his 44th birthday today, on October 23. He is widely regarded as one of the most highly paid actors in the Indian film industry. The popularity of Prabhas outgrew the Telugu states when Baahubali: The Beginning hit screens in 2015. Since 2015, Prabhas has been included in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list. He has been nominated for seven Filmfare Awards, won a Nandi Award, and been awarded the SIIMA Award for his performance in Telugu films. He made his acting debut in 2002 with the drama'Eeswar', and later attained his breakthrough with the action-romance Varsham (2004).


Prabhas is a pan-India star. However, this success did not come to him by doing just two expensive costume dramas. It happened to him 12 years and 18 films later.
