Govinda firing incident: Govinda’s nephew Krushna Abhishek’s wife Kashmera Shah visited the actor in the hospital after he accidentally shot himself in the leg with his gun. Despite the strained relations between the two families, Kashmera was spotted heading into the hospital alone to check on Govinda's condition.

As she arrived at the hospital, Kashmera chose not to engage with the crowd of paparazzi stationed outside. She swiftly made her way inside to offer support, even though her husband, Krushna, did not accompany her. 

The ongoing rift between Govinda's family and Krushna is well known. Govinda had ended the feud by attending Krushna’s sister Arti’s wedding but his wife Sunita had given the wedding a miss. 

What Govinda's wife Sunita said about Krushna and Kashmera

Recently, in a conversation on the Timeout with Ankit podcast, Sunita expressed her discomfort with Krushna and Kashmera. She explained that her differences with the couple have kept her from appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show, which features Krushna.   

She said, "See, I will tell you one thing, main jhooth nahi bolungi, Krushna-Kashmera se mera nahi jamta hai… toh show karti main, agar woh log nahi hote (I won’t lie, I don’t get along with Krushna and Kashmira. I would do the show if they weren’t invovled). 

In a conversation with HT City, Krushna responded to Sunita’s statement and said, “I love her a lot. Mami has always loved me like her kid, and also done a lot for me. She has all the right to be angry on me. I know she says everything in anger, but it is nothing else. Main unka mana lunga, she is my mami.” 

Govinda's statement on his injury

The incident involving Govinda occurred earlier today when he accidentally discharged his licensed pistol, resulting in a gunshot wound to his leg. The actor, who is also a Shiv Sena leader, was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.  

In a brief statement, Govinda reassured his fans, saying he is recovering well under the care of medical professionals. 

He said, “Namaskar, pranaam, main hoon Govinda, aap sab logon ke aashirwad aur maa-baap ka aashirwad, guru ki kripa ke wajah se goli lagi thi par woh nikaal di gayi hai. Main dhanyavad deta hoon yahan ke doctor ka, aadarniya doctor Agarwal ji ka aur aap sab logon ki prarthana jo hai, aap logon ka dhanyavad, pranaam (I am Govinda. Your blessings, the blessings of my parents, and the grace of my guru have helped me. I was shot, but the bullet has been removed. I thank the doctors here and everyone for their prayers. Thank you all).”
