New Delhi: After the news of Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh's pregnancy went viral on social media, the couple recently made headlines. Fans noticed Genelia holding her belly as the two posed for a photo at an event in Mumbai, which led to rumours that she was pregnant. On Saturday, September 9, Genelia and Riteish went to a party. The actress was holding her belly while posing for the cameras, which led fans to believe she might be expecting.
Riteish debunked the claims on Instagram on September 11 and stated that they were baseless. He posted a screenshot of the post assuming Genelia is expecting.
"I wouldn't mind having 2-3 more but unfortunately, this is untrue," the actor wrote.

In February 2012, both of them got married. They first had a Hindu wedding, and then the next day they had a Christian wedding. Their first kid, Riaan, was born in November 2014, and Rahyl, their second son, was born in June 2016.
Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003) was the Bollywood couple's debut movie together. Genelia and Riteish worked on a number of films during this time. They last featured in 'Ved' (2022). The Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'souza-starring movie has gotten positive reviews from both critics and audiences. On December 30, Deshmukh's first Marathi movie as a director was released. The romantic drama currently holds the title of the second-highest-grossing Marathi movie of all time, after 'Sairat' which released in 2016.
On the work front, Genelia Deshmukh last appeared in the JioCinema film 'Trial Period', which tackles the idea of looking for a father figure through a 30-day trial. When her son insists on finding a father, the single mother's life, as it is portrayed, takes a dramatic change.
