New Delhi: Gauahar Khan is a new mom.The actor-host has been on a motherhood journey ever since she and Zaid Darbar welcomed their first-born Zeehan a few months ago. Recently, the actor revealed that she drove herself to the hospital on the day of her delivery. Sharing that she loves to drive and in fact convinced her husband Zaid to let her drive on the day Zeehan was born.
In an interaction with Hauterrfly, Gauahar shared, "I had my doctor’s appointment and we were going and just then, my contractions began. And I was driving and I drove to my delivery with my husband next to me. We reached the hospital at 4:30 and he (Zeehan) was born at 9:30. I drove to my delivery.”
In the same interview, Gauahar also spoke about her postpartum journey. Gauahar also shared that she lost around 10 kgs postpartum. Gauahar returned to work just a few weeks after the delivery.
A few days ago, Gauahar shared that she lost an amazing 10 kgs in her first post-delivery photo. The 40-year old shared a picture of herself in a white night suit and wrote, "Lost 10 kgs in 10 days postpartum! Alhamdulillah 6 more to go! #newmomlife.”
Gauahar has also been actively sharing #newmomlife posts on Instagram.
Gauahar and Zaid welcomed their first born on May 10. They named him Zeehan.
The two tied the knot in December 2020.
On the work front, the actor won 'Bigg Boss 7' and has been seen in several OTT series and TV shows.
