New Delhi: Diljit Dosanjh has become massively popular thanks to his Coachella performance last year and several sold out shows across the world ever since he went on tour in 2023. Recently, a video of the Punjabi singer-actor went viral on social media. In the video, we see a foreigner child cry so that he gets to watch a Diljit Dosanjh song on TV.


As soon as his mother plays the song, the child settles down and starts to dance on 'Case' from Diljit's album 'Ghost'.

Soon after the video was shared on Instagram, several DIljit fans posted comments about the same.

A fan wrote, "Diljit sab da favourite ❤️❤️❤️❤️." Another comment read, "Well i saw this 😂 before when i was 10 or 11yrs old something and in my neighbor their was same age toddler he just wanted to listen diljit song all time😂 his parent bought album and he screams all tym 'panga'."


A Diljit fan wrote, "Punjabi, though, so they have at least a reason they mainly prefer Punjabi music. Diljit is also one of my favs and I'm not the Indian parent so I don't understand the lyrics, but his songs are still catchy. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope this boy finds some Indian friends to continue his multicultural experience."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Diljit Dosanjh will be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ alongside Parineeti Chopra. The film will be released on Netflix on April 12, 2024.


Diljit will be essayig the role of the iconic Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila while Parineeti will portray the role of his partner Amarjot.
