New Delhi: Shabana Azmi wrote a heartfelt message for Farhan Akhtar on Instagram on his birthday. It appears that the Akhtar family invited their loved ones to join them for a special midnight cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the occasion. The entire Akhtar family from Javed Akhtar to Farhan's mother Honey Irani and sister Zoya Akhtar were present along with his wife Shibani Dandekar Akhtar and the other members of the Dandekar family.
The birthday boy looked happy in the picture, standing next to his wife Shibani, wearing a black T-shirt and black trousers. His friends and family gathered for the momentous occasion, all grinning for the camera. For the picture, Javed Akhtar kept Zoya close to him while Honey and Shabana posed side by side.
Actor and VJ Anusha Dandekar, Shibani's sister, joined the celebration alongside other guests. There were three large birthday cakes on the table, one shaped like the number 50. It appears that the picture was taken in Farhan's Mumbai home.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Shabana Azmi extended her heartfelt wishes as she wrote, "Salgirah mubarak betu #FarhanAkhtar. Jeete raho khush raho bahut saara pyar ❤️❤️"
