New Delhi: Bollywood's iconic couple Dharmendra and Hema Malini celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on Thursday, May 2. The veteran actors, who fell in love on the sets of their film, got married in 1980. Having made a mark with their onscreen as well as offscreen chemistry, the 'Dream Girl' co-stars are one of the most adored couples of the Hindi film industry.

The adorable couple celebrated 44 years of togetherness by exchanging garlands and posing for pictures in the company of their family which comprised daughter Esha Deol in attendance. The actors looked adorable as they posed together. In one of the pictures, Dharmendra can also be seen giving a peck on Hema's cheek.
Hema Malini took to her social media handle and shared pictures with her husband. She wrote, "Our anniversary photos."

Earlier on Thursday, Hema Malini shared a fan made montage of her adorable moments with Dharmendra as the actors marked 44 years of their marital life. Sharing the video, she captioned it as, "Our wedding anniversary today!44 years of togetherness,2 beautiful girls,lovely gchildren surrounding us&drowning us with their love!Our fans &their limitless adulation! Hema Malini and Dharmendra fell in love despite the actor being married to Prakash Kaur with whom he shares his two sons Sunny and Bobby Deol. The veteran actors got married in 1980 after starring together in more than 20 films. The couple is parents to their two daughter Esha and Ahana Deol.
