Deepika Padukone baby: Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have become parents to a baby girl. The couple welcomed their first child on September 8.
The actress was admitted to Reliance Foundation Hospital for the delivery on Saturday. Deepika was spotted with her mother arriving at the hospital, Ranveer also followed her. Although the actor wasn’t visible inside the car, she was accompanied by her mother. A video of the actor’s car pulling up to the hospital has since gone viral on social media.
Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in February 2024. The couple shared a post announcing their pregnancy. The post read, "September 2024”.
Deepika and Ranveer sought blessings at Siddhivinayak Temple
Earlier on Friday, Deepika and Ranveer visited Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings. Deepika stunned in a beautiful green saree adorned with golden brocade, radiating a pregnancy glow. Her hair was styled in an elegant bun, adding to her graceful appearance. Ranveer, on the other hand, looked dapper in a beige silk kurta-pyjama, accessorized with black sunglasses and his signature man bun. The couple made a heartwarming entrance as Ranveer gently held Deepika’s hand. They both greeted the paparazzi with warm smiles as they exited the temple.

On September 2, the couple delighted their fans by sharing a series of maternity photoshoot pictures. The monochrome images captured Deepika proudly showing off her baby bump, with Ranveer lovingly embracing her in the photos.
On the professional front
On the work front, Deepika was last seen in the sci-fi epic 'Kalki 2898 AD', which garnered an impressive Rs 1,041 crores at the global box office. Her next project is 'Singham Again', where she will portray a fierce super-cop named Shakti Shetty, once again sharing the screen with Ranveer.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is gearing up for Aditya Dhar’s upcoming untitled film, a project he teased by sharing a black-and-white collage featuring stars like Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and director Aditya Dhar.
