New Delhi: Former Bigg Boss 17 contestant Ayesha Khan has bravely spoken out about her unsettling experiences in the entertainment industry. She talked about the harassment and discomfort faced by many women. Ayesha, who gained prominence following her appearance on the reality TV show, has only now spoken up about casting couch events she had to face.


In an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly, Ayesha disclosed a disturbing encounter during a photoshoot. Recalling the incident, she described being pressured by a management agency to pose seductively while wearing revealing attire. She said that it was her first acting job after joining an agency and recalled, “They got me a few outfit options and I got very excited. They got a black netted top, which I had to wear and send pictures. I thought I'd wear an inner underneath. Then they said, ‘We wanted this a little seductive and sensual.’"


She added, "They approach you and say ‘Are Madhuri ne bhi aise kiya tha.’ They take big names ki ye log aaj itne successful kaise hai? They all have done this".

Ayesha recounted another unsettling encounter at Juhu Beach, where she was subjected to unwelcome remarks by a group of men. She shared, “I was at Juhu beach after a stressful day. Then a man came next to me, then another and later I was surrounded by 3-4 men. I felt very unsafe. They also pretend to be on a phone call. I then confronted him loudly so that people could hear and asked what was he saying. The man replied, ‘Am I saying anything to you? I am just on call.’ I said yes of course and left from there. My hands were shivering while saying this.”


She also said, “A woman knows your intention by a touch or even by your look.”
