New Delhi: Bhumi Pednekar has been ill with Dengue fever. The actress used social media to update her followers on her dengue treatment. She shared photos taken from her hospital bed. She urged her fans to be cautious and spoke of the tremendous challenges she and her family had encountered in recent days because of her illness.


A health update was posted on social media today by Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar. She said that she was just diagnosed with dengue and that the previous few days had been very challenging for her. But now that she's feeling better, the actress shared two selfies with her devoted fan base straight from her hospital bed.


Bhumi wrote, "Ek Dengue ke machar ne, mujhe 8 din ka massive torture de diya. But today I woke up feeling like a WOW, so I had to click a selfie." 






In the message, she also asked her followers to protect themselves and praised the hospital personnel for their care. She wrote, “Guys be careful, cause the last few days were extremely tough for my family and I. Mosquito repellent’s are a must right now. Keep your immunity up. High pollution levels have most of our immunities compromised. Quite a few people I know have gotten dengue recently. Yet again ek invisible virus ne halat kharab kar di."


As for Bhumi's work life, she was last seen in the erotic comedy 'Thank You For Coming,' for which she received a lot of praise. The film was directed by Karan Boolani and produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. The film also stars Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi, and was written by Radhika Anand and Prashasti Singh.
