New Delhi: With the anticipation soaring high for 'Bastar: The Naxal Story' helmed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Subdipto Sen, and featuring Adah Sharma, the film has garnered immense excitement since its announcement. Teasers and posters released so far have captured the audience's attention, particularly showcasing Adah Sharma's portrayal of IPS Neerja Madhvan.

Known for her commitment to her craft, Adah Sharma left no stone unturned in preparing for her role. Filmmaker Sudipto Sen shared insights into her preparation, stating, "Adah went to Bastar, as she wanted to take blessings from Danteswari Mata, which is the most reckoning temple in Bastar. People of Bastar believe that all auspicious work needs the blessings of Danteswari Mata."

He added, "Adah wanted to learn the basic nuances of jungle warfare and arms handling and also wanted to meet women in the CRPF and Chhattisgarh police who are actually fighting battles on the ground."

Fans eagerly await another gripping and authentic narrative from the team behind 'The Kerala Story,' and Adah Sharma's portrayal promises to deliver spine-chilling realism. The teaser uncovers the reality of the sacrifices made by martyrs and sheds light on how certain pseudo-intellectuals are spreading divisive propaganda, backed by Chinese funding.

The film, produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah's Sunshine Pictures and co-produced by Aashin A. Shah, directed by Sudipto Sen, is slated for a global theatrical release on March 15, 2024.
