For some time now, rapper Badshah has been the subject of speculation about his relationship with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir. The buzz gained traction when Hania attended one of Badshah’s concerts and shared a clip from the event on her Instagram Stories. However, in a recent interaction at Sahitya AajTak 2024, Badshah addressed the rumours and dismissed them, clarifying that their bond is purely platonic.

Badshah on his equation with Hania Aamir

“Hania is a very good friend of mine, and we share a great connection,” Badshah shared while discussing his rapport with the actor. “We have a lot of fun whenever we meet, and that’s all there is to it. She is happy in her life, and I am in mine. Our equation is wonderful, but people often misinterpret it and see what they want to believe,” he said at Sahitya AajTak 2024.

Hania also addressed relationship rumours in the past

In May, during an interview with BBC Asian Network, Hania also addressed the speculation. "I sometimes think my only problem is that I'm not married. If I was, I would be spared from so many of these rumours," she remarked.

She described Badshah as a "great friend" and praised his grounded nature. “He is such a nice, simple human being apart from his Badshah persona. He’s real, and that’s something we have in common. If I’m feeling low or not active on social media, he checks in, asking, ‘What’s wrong?’” she shared.

Hania and Badshah's social media posts

The duo frequently posts glimpses of their interactions on Instagram, particularly during meetups in Dubai. In the latest clip shared by Hania, she and Badshah are seen bowing to each other in a playful gesture, with the rapper folding his hands. Hania gave him a cheerful shout-out, calling him “an absolute rockstar” and “a hero,” before giving him a warm hug. She captioned the video, “That's my beautiful friend! He's an absolute rockstar! Hero hai @badboyshah.”

Responding to her post, Badshah re-shared it on his Instagram Stories with a heartfelt note: “Sabko pata hai rockstar kaun hai (you) (Everyone knows who the rockstar is),” accompanied by a folded hands emoji.

Last month, Hania was also spotted at singer Diljit Dosanjh’s London concert, where Badshah shared the stage with the Punjabi singer. The rapper later posted a series of pictures on Instagram featuring moments from the show, including snapshots with Diljit and Hania.

Badshah, whose birth name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, was previously married to Jasmine Masih. The couple tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed their daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, in January 2017. However, they decided to separate in 2020.
