New Delhi: Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, posted an Instagram tribute to his dad on Friday. His message was a heartfelt expression of gratitude for the lessons he had received from his father. Along with a touching statement, Babil shared a photo from his childhood showing his parents (Irrfan and Sutapa) taking in the sights from the deck of a boat.
Babil is quite engaged on Instagram, where he writes his opinions and shares humorous tales and photos of his late father. Babil shared a touching line from the Irrfan Khan-starring film ‘Life of Pi’ in memory of his late father. He expressed regret for not spending more time with his father.
Babil captioned the image, “..but what always hurts the most, is not taking a moment to say goodbye. I was never able to thank my father for all I learned from him. To tell him, that without his lessons, I would never have survived.”- do I really have to mention the bibliography of this dialogue?." For the uninitiated, this line from ‘Life Of Pi’.
Earlier, in an interview with ABPLive, Babil was asked about how his upbringing helped him get where he is today. He replied, "As a human being, completely. The values taught by my parents are everything to me."
Meanwhile, Babil Khan recently featured in the new Netflix original movie ‘Friday Night Plan’. The film also stars Medha Rana, Juhi Chawla and Ninad Kamat, Amrith Jayan and Aadhya Anand.
Babil will be next seen in 'The Railway Men' with Kay Kay Menon, R Madhavan and Divyenndu Sharma. In addition to this, he has a role in a short film by Anurag Kashyap that has not yet been announced.
