New Delhi: Actor Archana Puran Singh recently shut down a troll who made a derogatory comment about her looks on an Instagram. Archana shared a heartwarming throwback picture with her husband, Parmeet Sethi, taken during their time in Switzerland. Reflecting on the memories, she captioned the post, "A while and a minute ago! Google keeps reminding me of how wonderful life has been!"

In response to the post, an Instagram user made an offensive comment, implying that Archana looked more like a man than a woman and took a long time to transform her appearance. She wrote, “ArchanaPuranSingh, woman km.. man jada lag rahi ho... Kapil sahi kehte aapko bahut time lagta hoga roop parivartan me  ( (You look more like a man than a woman. Kapil says it right that you take much longer time for your transformation)."

The troll referred to Kapil Sharma, with whom Archana had been associated since 2019 when she became a permanent guest on "The Kapil Sharma Show," replacing Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Refusing to ignore the derogatory comment, Archana Puran Singh responded with a sharp and empowering message. She expressed disappointment at the troll's narrow-minded and disrespectful thinking, especially considering their young age. She wrote, "Kitni ghatiya soch rakhti ho itni kam umar mein. Thoda padh likh leti toh shayad badon se kaise pesh aate hain, pata hota (You have such low values in such a tender age. If you had studied a bit, you could have learnt how to talk to elders). Please learn to respect women of All ages and shapes and sizes and appearances. How will you expect or deserve respect from men if you can't yourself respect other women?"

With an illustrious career in both films and television, Archana Puran Singh is well-known for her roles in popular movies like 'Raja Hindustani,' 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,' among others. She has also been a prominent part of various comedy shows and reality programs.

Archana is married to actor and director Parmeet Sethi. The couple is blessed with two sons, Aryamann and Ayushmaan.
